I'm back!!

Hey guys!! So here I am back from my imaginary holidays :P I don't know why I didn't write longer now because there was something going on... I don't know laziness I suppose...

So HERE WE GO (that's one of my favorite expression now i say it very often, and are you kidding me ;) ) don't waste any time I have lots of thing I want to get rid of!! This time i will also attach some photos I think.

  • First of all there is the NEBRASKA STATE CHEER AND DANCE COMPETITION ! It was last Saturday in grand Island at Fonner Park (you know, or not, the horse racing course here in grand Island). And i was so excited to get there because you don't have everyday the chance to get to a Cheerleading competition of teams from all over Nebraska! It was so awesome and there were so many people there! We got later there because it started at 8 o'clock in the morning and it was Sunday , soo.... instead we got there at nine :P  And when we got in I was just like AWESOME! the stage was in 2 half one for the cheerleader and one for the dance teams.. the cheerleader side was made softer with some mats (hahahah like the dance teams don't need safety ;) ) and when i got in the Cheerleader just performed (it was that one cheerleader-team had their turn and the a dance team) and they did all that shouting and screaming and carrying signs which said what they shout, and had those great pompoms (Does anybody know where i can get those from? I really want to get them as a souvenir, nothing is more American for me) and it was just soooo cool! But we had to get a place to watch we couldn't just block the entry but there were no places to sit where you had the bet sight so we just stood. And it got even more awesome when he dance team performed! They are all just awesome! I couldn't even take enough photos. And then more cheerleader came and more dance-teams  and that's for the whole day! But we didn't watch them all after 3 hours we left to eat. But before we left I bought ice cream from a stand which said "The ice cream of the future" I got here and thought "I'm sure that's a rip off, nevermind just try it"  And so i ordered the oreo kind (yep you really can get oreo everywhere) and when i got my ice cream I was like "OMG what's that?" I got a cup of little balls of ice cream and it didn't look like ice cream it rather looked like the little white styrofoam balls. So i took a spoon full of them (I'm not sure if this product HAS a future it's pretty difficult to eat them they keep falling off the spoon the whole time ;) ). And. It. WAS. So. Cold. If you can get "burned" from too coldness that happened to me! jay and then we laft eating but we came back because I found out that the team from my school (dance+cheerleader) were also participating but a little later. So I got back and they were so awesome! The cheerleader got finally placed 5th  and the dance team got 1st in 2 categories! They really deserved that it was amazing!! Now i will attach some photos but they're not from the teams of my school

Here we have the end pose of one of the dance teams
Cheerleader! This team was really good!
The end pose of one if the Cheerleader teams

So I think I'll end now although I wanted to write something else but I think i will do it at the weekend then.
Gooodbye until then!

this and that.....

hey look and now I'm not the most actual blog writer ever, I'm so sorry you can stop looking in the record books i will never appear there I'm just too lazy AND  i have a life :D Good this post is about a few things that happened in the last few days to get you up to date despite the fact that I'm a not such a good blogger as i would like to be.
  • Oki, first of all of course the meeting of the EF students on Sunday, which I've already announced in the last post. It was at Pizza Hut and when i got in it was like, nobody's in there! But after a few seconds 2 other girls in my age came in and they talked to each other and there was something about "blablabla...exchange student meeting... blabablablabla" So my first panic got away. And I quickly found out WHY i couldn't see anybody: the whole group sat in a extra room where you can't see in. When I got in I had 2 thought: 1) Woooow there are so many EF exchange students in the Grand Island Area? Who would have thought that? Awesome! (there were about 20 students, maybe more idk) and 2) Hey they are a few familiar faces! So i got in and looked for a seat. I found a free one on the table with a girl who is in my chemistry class and another exchange stundet from my school (but I haven't seen her since then), a girl from Holland, I sat next to a girl from Vienna, and next to HER sat..... the girl from germany who i met in Brussels at the airport and who helped me! Awesome I would have never thought that I will see her there! So we talked for a while, changed news and how we're living here, then we orgered the beverages, we talked again (it was so fun the not german speaking people on my table tried to speak it :P ) ordered the pizza we wanted (our table shared one and it still was enough!) and something else but i was too confused to understand what was going on it all happened too fast.  Then we waited for longer and then we talked about our schools and i found out that nearly all of the EF exchange students are Juniors and Seniors to go to the prom and the cool stuff BUT I WAS A SOPHOMORE!!  the girl next to me was even younger than me and she was a senior! That's so unfair i was really disappointed then :( But then we made a short introduction round the new students first (4 of us came here included me) and then the "old" students introduced them it was nice but all of them were from Europe :D Yeah then we got our food it was delicious ( I found out that the something we ordered too were cheese sticks :P ) and then we had to pay and then it was already over! It didn't seem 2 hours for me it was just so nice and funny and I hope that there are such meetings more often :)
  • Second point what i want to share with you is... VALENTINES DAY!!!!!!  huuuch that is so awesome here! I thought "oh valentines day, no big deal just a day like any other when you're single" but NO it wasn't!" i already noticed that when we  got to walmart on the evening before valentines day. It was fuller than normal and there were especially much people at the Valentinesday section.  Maybe I can attach some photos at the end of this post but let me finish first.  So and then on the next day i got to school completely not knowing what Valentines day is here! It was great! Everybody walked around giving candy to his/her friends and hugging and a  HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!! or some ironic HAPPY  TUESDAY! everywhere. I also got some candy and in the classes he teacher were also likely to give candy (or no homework) to their student's because of Valentines day. A lot of ballons flew through the hallway and everybody got a sucker from the office :) They called you extra for getting your candy to the office :p So awesome you saw candy everywhere.... When I got home then  I also got a card and a little present from my hostparents, and from their family too! So now I have lots of candy and cards and a teddy bear and some other nice little presents. It's just awesome everybody gives everybody   candy and chocolate (hugs and kisses- that's chocolate :D ) and a card and it's great! So keep in mind when there's Valentines day DON'T THINK THAT IT'S JUST A DAY FOR COUPLES IT'S NOT AND LOOK THAT YOU ALSO BUY SOME CANDY AND CHOCOLATE FOR YOUR FRIENDS! :)

    Some Valentines Flowers
That's how the Valentines day cards section of Walmart looked like on Feb 13th
Kisses and Hugs- they're so GOOD! Caramel is the best (that's what the pink one is)

    Basketball! :)

I'm back and this time the post is a bit more interesting I suppose I read through the previous one, OMG how BOOORING! I'm sorry I have too much time when I don't have homework :D

This post will be about the Basketball Game I went to yesterday evening. First of all IT WAS AWESOME! I don't know why i didn't go earlier it's so great!  And somebody said that the Basketball season is nearly over so from now on i will try to go to as much game as possible! But that you understand what I mean and that this post isn't that short ;) i will tell you everything from the beginning on :D I hope you don't have a date today ;)

Good I got to the game at 7:30 because a girl from school said that the girls game started at 7:45 and I wanted to be there a bit earlier to not miss anything. So i got in and quickly find where to go (Would be a shame if not i went to this school fro  month now and it isn't that big ;) ) and i quickly noticed that that's something big. you could hear people clap or scream every 5 seconds. So I looked into the gym and WOW it was so different! the benches for the visitors were out up and now it looked really cool like in the films :P the boys were still plaxing and I saw that our team was behind. Not much but still. And again when somebody made a foul the people were clapping their hands (from the other team fans)or screaming (from the fans of the team who made the foul ) and when somebody made  point THEN it was loud! the people cheered and clapped and screamed and were  enthusiastic and the cheerleader danced on the field and screamed their slogans ( you normally didn't understand that because the people were so loud) aach just awesome!  then I realized that I was at the wrong side of the gym I was at the enemies side ;) so I got to the other side and quickly met familiar faces. They all looked very excited and everybody WAS excited! them was timeout and the cheerleader immediately ran on the field to do their choreography and to cheer. I LOVE that I love the cheerleadeer, what they do, their outfits and especially their pompoms. the visitor team had more cheerleader I noticed and their had golden pompoms looked very glamorous :P but our team was just chic and cute :) the dance team also danced during the timeouts and breaks between the periods. Everybody stood on their benches the atmosphere was amazing. But our team wasn't behind anymore it was  a tie but only 10 seconds to play.. 5... OMG the other team got a point! AND OUT! OMG that was mean in the last second... So i expected that the girls match is directly behind but there was a big break and there they introduced a lot of students plus their parents it was weird and I didn't get what that was good for, but nevermind so I got a break to buy something and so I went to the kiosk. OMG there was so much variety of match snacks and 3/4 of them which you can't even buy in europe. I needed a lot of time to decide but finally took a bottle of water and some skittles :P
When I got back in the introductions were almost over but after that the game didn't start either because they had to warm up for 20 minutes. So the band played and the cheerleader ad the  dance team danced to that I liked it... and then with a delay of 30 minutes the game started. Next to me sat a girl from Germany and she explained the rules of the game to me because I really didn't get that :D i was glad that she was there to tell me everything and to tell me something about the player in our team who's very good in what and so on ;)
SO the game started and already in the first period our team was behind. The other team was fast, tall good in  throwing the ball into the basket (they didn't miss very often at first). It got even worse and after the second period it was 23 to 15 for the other team... After the second period there was a bog break of 15 minutes in which the dance team performed "judas" of Lady Gaga it was absolutely awesome! the dance team was great at all  at the beginning of the game they made flic-flacs (I don't know how to write that ) through the whole gym and turned somersaults...
But after that I already had to leave.. but i really didn't want to see our team losing that high  :)
Good that's it I suppose it's long and when you missed a date or something I'm sorry but you can't sue me for that :D
Good see ya then! Maybe i post after the EF valentines.day meeting on Sunday! so see ya SOON!

I'm so up to date! :D

bahaha this post exist because I don't want to hear complaining that I'm not blogging regularly BUT THAT'S HOW I DO NOW!! ok maybe it's only for a few days when i don't have so much to do, but my actual goal is to be the most actual blog EVER (you can start looking in the record books now, in which you can find such unnecessary records ;) ) Good i should stop talking unnecessary stuff now time is money(or actuality  whatever)

Ah great I don't know what to write now.... I just tell you everything at the beginning I will know what's interesting when I write.
I woke up at 6:45 and was sooo tired although I didn't stay up that late! so i had a few minutes to lie in my bed before getting up (hey you know what I NEVER did this in Austria!) but in this few minutes i was half asleep and had a dream, was kinda weird, I dreamed of sharks and weird other stuff. Let's skip the other stuff that's boring i got to school was very bored but then maths started. You know what's funny about American teacher/classes? You sometimes get candy in the lesson and a 2 weeks ago our maths teacher brought bagels for the whole class in many different flavors: Chocolate chip, onion, jalapenos, chili, and whatever else I don't really know. But it's so cool the teacher just asks "Hey guys want some candy?". But I found out that when a teacher brings you food they he/she likes you :) because in chemistry once someone said," He doesn't really like us, we're too noisy, he rather likes his accelerated chemistry class he brought them CHEESECAKE!!"
Something else happening today? Oh yes in Spanish the teacher was gone during channel 1 (a certain period at the beginning of the 6th mod) because the teacher had to go to the meeting of all the guys involved in the "Sound of Music" production at my school (heheh how funny)  and so there was NO teacher in the class. BIG mistake! First  everyone was confused because the desks stood on another place and we have a plan how to sit in Spanish (the teacher likes to make them up sometimes) and so nobody knew where to go :P After some time when everybody found a place to stay some of the guys began to do weird stuff: throwing pencils on the ceiling that they get stuck (they failed) and climbing on the walls.....
gahahah and then after school I stayed longer because I thought that I have a meeting for tennis in spring. BUT I FOUND OUT THAT IT WAS MOVED TO ANOTHER DATE and I was waiting there! Sucks a bit but so I could see some basketball player coming in from another school and seeing the soccer player running around in the hallway  for warming up :D
THis evening I will go to my first basketball game (I'm here for one month and COULDN'T fugure out when there's one, that's weird...
So i will stop now wanna built legos :P I think that this one is a bit boring who cares see ya!

    Continue...

With this post I originally wanted to continue the previous one but now I now decided NOT do do it because it would take ages! Just the short version maybe: On Monday I had a school  free day that means I didn't do anything else than finishing my homework and skyping with my family,... The rest of the week was pretty normal school and so on. But there's one thing I want to  tell you! On Friday I used to have my Chemistry test. I got very stressed because I had to make a notecard for it in Study hall because I couldn't memorize that all.
So I got into he classroom, pretty nervous, but I knew that I can do that. So I sat down, saw the teacher with the sheets of the test  in his hands, ready to give it to us. But suddenly somebody asks: " Could we please NOT do the test today? I hardly understand that, can we do it in wednesday?" I thought that that person is crazy you can't just reschedule a test that's impossible, although it would be great if it would be possible. But the teacher seems to hesitate and to think about that! And suddenly he asks a few people if they want to do the test today and more and more students ask "Pleeease can we take it on wednesday!" And then the teacher asks ME if I think that we should take the test today, and of course I said no. And so we didn't  take the test and so I had the funniest chemistry lesson EVER because I listened to a discussion about Religion and how they made fun of the bible (Parts of it and that in a catholic school it was hilarious). 1 month!

OK this blogpost is made for 2 reasons:

    1. My last one was one week ago and so I wanted to make one yesterday evening but the Internet kicked me out so I decided to make it today and hopefully i will stay in the Internet long enough to finish this :)
    2. There were complaining that I didn't write posts fro AGES (hahah) ;)
So OK I will just write what happened in the last week. Good let's start I think this post will be very easily done!   :D
Hahah i just had to think what i did everyday... but let's start on Sunday. A LOT  was happening here on Sunday. But first of all it started quite normal. I got up at about 9:30 and then eating breakfast and getting ready for church at 11o'clock. That's something that's unfamiliar form me to get to church every  Sunday and that Church only starts at 11o'clock! That's a waay better time to start I think nobody wants to get up at 8 o'clock on weekends to get to church that's ridiculous and not very nice to the normal people. Afterwards we went to Perkins, that very good restaurant where you can get breakfast the whole day i love it! But afterwards I'm always very full.... the rest of the afternoon was spent with watching TV, playing and visiting relatives I guess but WAIT there was something else we did!
At about 5 o'clock we decided to go to Kearney and I thought Ok that's just another unfamiliar store in Grand Island nothing really surprising, because tehre are So MANY stores here. So we got in the car and it turned out that "Kearney" was another town about 40 minutes by car from Grand Island. So we got there to Target, a store where you can really get EVERYTHING from pants to cereals. Afterwards I found out that it's a pretty famous store, I knew that it seemed familiar to me :) So we went through the shop but all we bought was 5 bars of chocolate.  That was MILKA chocolate a chocolate you can get in Austria and I thought that you ONLY can get this in the German speaking countries of Europe, i also brought it along from Austria. I was wrong you can also buy it in the USA but I think only at Target and only the normal chocolate with anything else. After paying the chocolate we went to a frozen yogurt shop, not red mango I don't remember it's name. But in my opinion it wasn't hat good as red mango.... And then we went back home, so we drove 40 minutes 2 times to buy 5 bars of chocolate we have at home too and to get some frozen yogurt..funny.
Oh man i have to stop now. i don't have time to write much more (and I really have something to write) because it's superbowl sunday :) nah just kidding it's super bowl, but me and my hostfamily will  watch the smurfs xD Yep see ya, when i write the other part(s) of this blog I  wanted to write today
